To ensure the welding quality of pressure vessels, improve the professional skills of welders, motivate employees to actively learn welding technology, and simultaneously assess the actual operational level of welders, a third practical examination of the company's welders' hands-on abilities will be conducted. The test pieces and results will be archived and included as reference for the year-end bonus.

To ensure the welding quality of pressure vessels, improve the professional skills of welders, motivate employees to actively learn welding technology, and simultaneously assess the actual operational skills of welders, the company conducted the third practical skills assessment for its welding personnel. The test pieces and results are archived and included as reference for the year-end bonus.

The test project (third phase) is pipe-to-pipe butt welding, fixed welding at a 45° upward angle, argon arc welding for the root pass, manual welding for filling, using Φ60×6mm carbon steel pipes.

Unlike daily welding work, the on-site competition requires welding small-sized workpieces in special positions within a limited time. Additionally, the difficulty is increased by the use of welding materials, testing the participants' skills in plate welding and pipe welding. The competition site was filled with sparks as contestants showcased their skills, fully demonstrating the experience and techniques accumulated during their regular work.

The picture shows the award-winning employees of this competition: 1st place Yang Cunguo (far right), 2nd place Sun Yueqiang (middle), 3rd place Lu Yunlong (far left).

The event not only improved the professional technical level of the staff but also created a positive atmosphere of "competing, learning, catching up, and surpassing."
