In April 2025, a brand-new water treatment system was officially put into operation at the Chunfeng Joint Station of the New Spring Oil Production Plant, marking a significant improvement in the station's efficient use of water resources and environmentally friendly production levels. The project completed contract signing and commenced production construction in October 2024, and after six months of efficient construction, the commissioning plan was achieved on schedule.

In April 2025, a brand-new water treatment system was officially put into operation at the Chunfeng Joint Station of the Xinchun Oil Production Plant, marking a significant improvement in the station's efficient use of water resources and environmental production standards. The project completed contract signing and commenced production construction in October 2024, and after six months of efficient construction, it was put into operation as scheduled.

The water treatment system put into operation this time is an 8-tank combined unit (using a three-in-use, one-in-standby configuration) with a daily treatment capacity of 6,000 cubic meters. The system has excellent treatment performance: faced with complex water conditions with oil content ranging from 50mg/L to 500mg/L and suspended solids from 30mg/L to 100mg/L in the influent, after treatment, the effluent oil content is stably controlled within the range of 35mg/L to 50mg/L, a 90% reduction year-on-year; the suspended solids content is significantly reduced to below 20mg/L, an 80% reduction year-on-year. This achievement greatly improves water quality, significantly enhances the reuse rate of treated water, and provides strong technical support for water recycling and environmental emission reduction.

The water treatment system features a small footprint (150㎡), rapid filtration effectiveness, a simple and efficient process flow, and strong impact resistance, ensuring stable operation and continuous output of high-quality purified water even under fluctuating oilfield production conditions.

The successful operation of this project can achieve a 90% reuse rate of production wastewater, saving 1.9 million tons of fresh water annually. This not only improves water resource utilization efficiency but also lays a more solid foundation for environmentally compliant discharge and green, low-carbon development of the oilfield. In the future, Xilong will continue to drive innovation to support the green transformation of the energy industry!
