Detailed Introduction

I. Applicable Scenarios
It is primarily suited for crude oil pretreatment units in refineries, heavy‑oil and residual‑oil gathering and transportation stations in oil and gas fields, and intermediate buffer stages in refining and petrochemical processes. Designed to handle high‑temperature residual oil, it provides buffering, pressure stabilization, and pre‑treatment for impurity settling, making it an indispensable core pressure‑bearing buffer vessel in refining, petrochemical, and oil‑and‑gas gathering and transportation systems.
II. Core Features
1. With a super-large 158 m³ tank capacity, the unit can temporarily store and buffer residual oil delivered from upstream, mitigating pressure and flow fluctuations caused by pump start–stop cycles and flow pulsations. This ensures a uniform and stable supply of residual oil to downstream units, preventing sudden flow changes that could lead to cavitation in pumps, pipeline surges, and operational instability in distillation equipment, thereby guaranteeing continuous, uninterrupted operation of the entire refining and gathering‑transmission system.
2. The equipment is designed for a temperature of 250°C, with the main body fabricated from Q245R steel plates specifically intended for pressure vessels, offering excellent high-temperature resistance and resistance to plastic deformation, thereby ensuring suitability for high-temperature residual oil storage conditions. The tank structure has been optimized in accordance with horizontal pressure vessel standards, and its inner wall is resistant to media penetration, enabling long-term stable containment of residual oil and minimizing corrosive damage to the equipment itself caused by high‑temperature oils.
3. Residual oil contains solid impurities and heavy sediments. During the low‑speed, quiescent settling of the medium in the tank, sand, silt, and colloidal contaminants naturally settle to the tank bottom under gravity, achieving preliminary solid–liquid separation. This significantly reduces the erosive wear caused by solid particles in the residual oil on downstream pumps, heat exchangers, and control valves, thereby extending the service life of the entire process equipment and decreasing maintenance frequency.
4. The vessel features a horizontal, long‑cylinder configuration and is equipped with standardized nozzles for manholes, drain outlets, media inlets and outlets, and level‑measurement instruments. The tank bottom allows for periodic discharge of settled sediments and heavy sludge, while the top can accommodate level gauges as well as temperature and pressure monitoring devices, enabling real-time surveillance of the internal medium conditions. Sufficient space is provided for maintenance and tank‑cleaning operations, ensuring straightforward and convenient daily operation and upkeep.

Production Capacity
The facility currently serves as a modern manufacturing base for specialized equipment, with a main building area of 11,700 square meters. It is equipped with a heavy-duty hoisting system capable of lifting loads to a maximum height of 22.5 meters and handling cold-rolled steel plates up to 100 mm thick, meeting the assembly requirements for offshore platform modules and large skid-mounted equipment. The workshop is equipped with 18 lifting units, providing a total lifting capacity of 410 tons, covering the entire workflow from welding and final assembly to testing. It is also equipped with an automatic ventilation and dust removal system and an intelligent safety monitoring platform, integrating heavy-duty lifting, precision assembly, and safety management into a single integrated system.
